“Absolutely the Best”

My husband and I stayed at this little gem of a hotel in the summer of 2001. The lobby is lovely and the staff was so very friendly; they gave us a fabulous room overlooking the street below. The beds were extremely comfortable, as were the unusual sausage-shaped pillows - I loved them so much I almost crammed one in my suitcase to take home with me, but didn’t! The food was exceptional. Fresh hot croissants each morning, and the little cafe in the lobby had teriffic omelettes.
The staff also arranged dinner for us at a charming local restaurant - not a tourist trap - and it was the highlight of our trip. Outstanding in every respect, we will stay here every time we go to Paris. (I also LOVE the narrow hallways and the tiny elevators, which add to the charm of this hotel!)
